~ First up, we have rapper Machine Gun Kelly featuring former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello with Bad Things. I have enjoyed a lot of MGK's music in the past and I am liking this new single. His verses flow very nicely. This song was also another sign that Camila Cabello would probably end up going solo at some point, and she did. MGK of course was one of the people defending her decision along with Shawn Mendes. Does she have a great voice? No. But does she have enough recognition to have a few hit singles? I would think so. Bad Things is a good example of that. Her voice in the chorus really isn't that great, but I can guarantee the only reason this song is a hit is because of her (even though I think Machine Gun Kelly is the more talented artist, but I digress). Overall, it is a great song. Not MGK's best, but it's still enjoyable.
~ Next we have the Ed Sheeran comeback single (or at least one of the two) called Shape Of You. Like I said last week when it was on Hit-Bound, I do personally like this song more than Castle On The Hill. So I'm thrilled that Shape Of You is the hit. I also just read that this song could potentially be headed for a #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100, which would be very nice to see with how awful our current #1 is. But I am really enjoying this song and I have been since the first listen. Ed Sheeran sounds really good from beginning to end. I like the verses and I love the pre-chorus (which is where I think Ed Sheeran's vocals sound the best). The chorus sounds very good and then the rest of the song is very enjoyable as well. The lyrics can be a little questionable, but Ed Sheeran is without a doubt a very talented writer. This song is rather simple, but Ed Sheeran managed to make something simple very enjoyable. Of course, I'm saying this now and I'll probably hate this song in a few months. But I actually love this song right now. So we'll have to wait and see if I really do get sick of this.

~ The first time I heard The Chainsmokers – Paris was on the way to school yesterday and it was on a local radio station, so I had to shazam it to figure out what song it was because I hadn't looked at iTunes yet that morning, so I didn't know they had a new single. But I gotta say, Andrew Taggart's vocals are getting better. This isn't their best single, but it's enjoyable.
~ The best debut this week shockingly comes from Twenty One Pilots with Heavydirtysoul. I have actually heard this song several times before. My brother loves Twenty One Pilots and is constantly playing songs off of Blurryface, so I am very familiar with pretty much every song off that album. Heavydirtysoul is definitely one of the most enjoyable tracks off the album and it's nice to hear something that's not Stressed Out or Ride. I'll talk about it more if it debuts (which I can guarantee it will).

~ I still stand by my statement previously that Hailee Steinfeld & Grey/Zedd – Starving is very much overrated. I'm getting really damn sick of that drop. This was certainly not worthy of any of those 3 weeks at #1.
~ I am still continuously hearing X Ambassadors – Unsteady on Hits 1 and it's getting more and more annoying with each listen. This song is definitely not something worth keeping this long.
~ Having tied for the thing that pissed me off the most this week, Martin Garrix/Bebe Rexha – In The Name Of Love had the Biggest DROP!!! of the Week all the way out of the Top 30 from the Top 10. Not cool, Hits 1. So not cool at all! Here's to hoping this song can recover. But from a hard fall like certain, it's not certain to get back up and even if it does, the chances of it fully recovering are very slim.
~ The other thing that pissed me off the most was seeing Charli XCX – After The Afterparty have the biggest jump of the week into the Top 20. If it weren't for the lyrical content, I would say that this song sounds like some kind of song meant for kids. That being said, I consider the production to be very "childish" and annoying. And I know Charli XCX can do better. Maybe. But if she's gonna stick with this format, we're gonna have a serious issue. Honestly, it'd be a miracle if this could drop back down and In The Name Of Love jump back up.
~ But also in the Top 20, we have the more pleasing John Legend – Love Me Now and Shawn Mendes – Mercy. Both songs I'm happy to see in the Top 20 and I'd love to see them rise a little bit more.
~ So Daya – Sit Still, Look Pretty is just going to jump out of the Bottom 5 and back into the Top 30 whenever it feels like it? Hmm. I very much disapprove of that. We've overrated this girl enough already. Let's please get this song out of here!
~ Last week's entrants jumped rather poorly this week. The biggest jump was actually a +5 jump from Lukas Graham – You're Not There. Let that sink in for a minute.
~ Fifth Harmony – That's My Girl took quite the tumble into the Bottom 5 this week. I feel as though this song's time is done at this point and I can't see their being anymore hits from these girls from this album. So this may be it until they start releasing new music (without Camila Cabello).
~ I'm still very fascinated by the fact that Andy Grammer – Fresh Eyes is still here. I never anticipated this song to be a hit and I've been bored listening to it since the very beginning. It just doesn't seem like Andy Grammer to me. I'd prefer some more music like Fine By Me, Back Home, or even Honey, I'm Good. Just not this.
~ With the exits, I didn't care for Good Grief at all. Setting The World On Fire certainly had a nice countdown run and it was nice having it here. It was one of the standout country songs of 2016 and I honestly may be the only one here that actually still likes this song. But thank you for your time and service.
