Election Day Tomorrow!

So it's 10:45 PM central time and it keeps hitting me that tomorrow is the big day. It's the big day where America must make a major decision as to who they want to have run this country for the next four years. It's a pretty big deal. This upcoming election has been talked about for a very long time and it's definitely one of the craziest.

With that being said, I'd like to encourage those who can vote to vote. If you're underage like me, then obviously you can't vote. But if you're at least 18, then I highly suggest you take some time out of tomorrow to vote because your votes definitely matter and they definitely have an impact. And with this election, the results can honestly go either way. If you think your vote doesn't matter, you are surely mistaken. Every vote matters, especially in this election.

It's up to you whether you want to vote for the candidate who is for human equality (race, sexuality, etc.) or the candidate who is against that and against basic women's rights. That's totally up to you. What I simply want to do right now is encourage those who have the ability to vote to do so. Whoever wins this election is going to be our President for the next four years. So if you're like me and you absolutely despise one of the candidates, this is your chance to have your voice heard.

If I could vote, I would without a doubt vote for Hillary Clinton. My family and I have been supporters of her for a while now. But obviously it's your decision and you vote for the candidate that you think will run this country properly.

For those who are unfortunately underage (like me) and cannot vote, I have set up a poll on this site just for fun to see who all of you think should be our next President. So feel free to submit your vote on there. But like I said, every vote matters. That's really the main thing I want you to get out of this short post.

I apologize for not having the countdown post out yet. I plan to have that out tomorrow. But I just thought that since it's the night before the big election day, it's a good time to just talk about the election and why people should vote. I hope you guys have a great night and tomorrow we shall see who will be our next President of the United States.

  3. I actually registered to vote a little more than a month ago, and I am ready to go and vote tomorrow. I will have a post abut the election tomorrow afternoon though. And its not just control of the White House which is at stake, the control for the Senate hangs in the balance. And that worries me, especially considering I live in both a swing state and a Senate seat up for grabs. (Pennsylvania is where I live mind you, and its become a major battleground state) I'm not gonna tell you guys who I voted for until after the fact, when I get home tomorrow, so keep that in mind. So, see you all tomorrow, and I hope to have that post out tomorrow, and the 2012 year end will be delayed until the end of November, the 2016 year end until Pearl Harbor Day, and the top 50 songs of 2016 out by the first week of 2017. So see you all tomorrow, and best of luck to those who can vote!

Also I really should have done something to celebrate the Cubs winning for the first time since 1908.

  6. I'm not old enough to vote yet, but if I was, I would probably vote for one of the third party candidates. Although I'm for Trump's idea of not letting people cross the border illegally, he's way too cocky and he just would not be a good president. However, I would take him over Hillary, who has too many flaws in her that I can't even put them all in one comment, any day.

  9. Okay, since everyone else is saying who they would vote for president, I guess I will too. I'd definitely vote for Hillary (even though I'm not old enough to vote) because Trump is just horrible in almost every way. Hillary may have a couple of flaws, but I think she would be the perfect president.

  22. Breaking News!

Donald Trump is projected to win the state of Ohio. The old saying is that whoever wins Ohio, so wins the presidency. Ohio has picked the president the past 13 elections in a row, so can he win other key swing states like Pennsylvania, Florida, (Which is still tight, by about 2%) North Carolina, New Hampshire, Iowa, Michigan, and a few others.

    3. Its very narrow, by about 0.5%. I still think he may win, maybe not, Michigan, but if he could win some of the smaller states, there is a slight chance of him winning.

    4. Clinton is leading in New Hampshire by just 18 votes!

      Delete
    5. Trump is leading in Michigan by about 1% or so. All he needs is Michigan to win, no matter what.

      Delete
    6. Trump is leading in Pennsylvania by less than 20,000 votes, and 95% of all polling stations have reported in. Pennsylvania could potentially go for Trump if he holds onto that small lead, which I just recently saw it go up to 30,000.

      Delete
    7. Now Trump is up by less than 50,000 votes in Pennsylvania. I think sooner or later they'll have to call the race over and Trump will have won.

    3. Unfortunately it is said and done and the only thing we can really do at this point is just deal with it. I'm pretty sure the exaggeration was not necessary, Ethan. But I completely understand why you feel this way. I absolutely despise Trump just for views on pretty much everything and him having no political experience whatsoever does make matters worse. But we can surely find a way to fight through.

    4. I don't remember him ever saying all Muslims should wear special ID's, in fact he never did.

What type of racism? As far as I'm conserved he cares more about African Americans more than most democrats.

I doubt even if he did want mass proportions on an astronomical level, Congress would never allow that, nor would the Supreme Court allow that. (There's a thing called checks and balance, and that no one branch has more power over the other. Read the Constitution)

Hitler wanted war for Germany , the Aryan race, and eliminate "undesirable", Trump wants to bring jobs back, and make America the world power it was at the end of the Cold War under Reagan. (Do your history.)

He wants to get rid of the criminal illegal aliens, the drug dealers and murders and end sanctuary cities.

Don't just look up a meme and make that your main argument!

  40. Here's something that I think will interest Parker, about 6-7 Meek Mill songs debuting on the Hot 100. Bad news for him however is that I hate most, if not all of them, and I'm not alone.

That, and can we please move away from politics on this blog and never talk about it, like forever? Speaking of moving away from touchy subjects that'll likely cause another flame war, Adrian, when is the Weekend Countdown coming?

    7. That's funny, because I did hear Work From Home on Hits 1 just yesterday. Definitely not complaining, but I wonder what it means.

And I wonder if this means that Red Dress will finally leave Hit-Bound.

      Delete
    8. I think Red Dress, Be as You Are, and Kiss the Sky will all leave Hit-Bound this week...a major cleanout. Also I think I get tired of most songs that leave Hit-Bound.

      Delete
    9. Also, why would you remove Work From Home from Hits 1 instead of Stressed Out?

      Delete
    10. Because Stressed Out has a meaning, has good vocals, has an actual bass, and just better in every conceivable way.

I think you'd love this one, Miles. It is nowhere near a rap song, just an upbeat reggae song you can jam out to every once in a while. Tyga's part is really short as well, so that's good for you.

    4. Why would I want a generic reggae pop song, when we already have all of 2016 is basically tropical reggae already?

  46. Oh yay, more protests. 'Cause that's what this country needs more fucking protests I love it. Whatever happened to the country called the UNITED States of America. Both Trump and Clinton have already called for calm and unity, and yet people are just so obnoxious and self-indulgent that they just do not give a damn. Say what you will, but protesting in the street is where people should draw their lines in the sand, we want unity and respect for this decision, not division and disrespect for lawful authority.

    1. Just saying, but you're kind of protesting the protesters. But I agree with you, I guess.

      Delete
    2. I'm just saying, we should respect the decision of the vote, remain calm regardless of the outcome, and listen to the will of the candidates who said that they wan unity. Even President Obama called for unity, but when you have college students skipping class to burn an American flag, that is disgusting, and insulting to me, and millions of others.

      Delete
    3. Another thing that really fucking pisses me off is when news reporters try to have a civil talk with protesters and yet they act like spoiled brats and say the nastiest, rudest and most unnecessary things. They do realize they will be on live national TV, and you say something wrong, you will look like an asshole, and a self-entitled jerk that doesn't care at all.
