Biggest Jump Of The Week: Clean Bandit/Jess Glynne – Rather Be (+15)

New Entrants
~ I'm Jealous that Nick Jonas can make this good of a song. Jealous is a really good song that I hope goes far on the Weekend Countdown.

~ Another band full of cute guys that get the girls wild (The Vamps) debuted with Demi Lovato to make Somebody To You. It's a great song. I think Demi Lovato did a great job in the song.

~ Finally, we have Mary Lambert – Secrets. I find it a very catchy song. The lyrics are weird at first, but then you understand what exactly she's saying.

Hit-Bound
~ Tiffany Houghton – Love Like That is on Hit-Bound. It's pretty good.

~ Nico and Vinz – In Your Arms is also on Hit-Bound. And it's really good!

~ OneRepublic – I Lived is also really good!

~ Brantley Gilbert – Bottoms Up left Hit-Bound?

Top 5 Hit-Bound
1. Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame
2. Nico and Vinz – In Your Arms
3. OneRepublic – I Lived
4. Cobra Starship/Icona Pop – Never Been In Love
5. Bebe Rexha – I Can't Stop Drinking About You

Somebody Loves Blurbs
~ Clean Bandit/Jess Glynne – Rather Be randomly jumped into the Top 10 for the first time. Okay...

~ Apparently, we got a shout out from the guest DJ who announced Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy. I think that's very cool.

~ 5 Seconds Of Summer – Amnesia in the Top 5 is a "no" for me.

~ Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj – Bang Bang is now suddenly in the Top 3. Could it be a potential #1?

~ Iggy Azalea/Rita Ora – Black Widow entered the Top 10 this week.

~ I didn't think Becky G – Shower would last very long.

~ Apparently, it's impossible for Hits 1 to appreciate an Enrique Iglesias song.

~ It amazes me that OneRepublic – Counting Stars is still here. Even the fact that the other day, it was #2 on the Wutchuwant Countdown.

~ Kim Cesarion – Undressed is getting ready to debut on the American Top 40.

~ It's time to announce the winner of the 2014 Summer Voting Competition. But first, let's announce the song in third place. That song is:

  • Florida Georgia Line/Jason Derulo/Luke Bryan – This Is How We Roll

Well done. You were a great summer jam. Okay. And now the song that came in second place is:

  • Becky G – Shower

Well done. That can only mean one thing. The winner of the 2014 Summer Voting Competition is Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando! Congrats to all the songs for being good enough to be in the competition. Till next time!

~ Goodbye T. Mills – All I Wanna Do. It was nice having you around.

My Top 5 Picks
1. Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj – Bang Bang
2. Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando
3. Taylor Swift – Shake It Off
4. MKTO – American Dream
5. Nick Jonas – Jealous

My two favorite gay singers took over Hits 1 this weekend. How exciting. Bad things happened on the countdown. But good things happened on Hit-Bound. Before we get to this week's Fresh 45, here are the songs we're saying goodbye to this week.

  1. Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass (#2) [1st Week At #1]

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Fall Out Boy – Young Volcanoes (–25)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Fall Out Boy – Centuries (+22)

New Entrants
~ MKTO are back! They brought American Dream! It's catchy and I think they'll do well because of the success Classic had. It was almost on this countdown for a full year.

~ G.R.L. – Ugly Heart is also pretty good. I like it. That's all.

~ Betty Who finally debuted with Somebody Loves You. This song is also really good. Betty Who needs more recognition. Her song with Peter Thomas called All Of You was on Hit-Bound at some point, but never debuted, sadly. But at least we have this.

~ Finally, we come to Rixton – Wait On Me. This is really good compared to inferior Me and My Broken Heart. Kinda like how Ed Sheeran – Don't is superior to Sing. But the point is, Wait On Me is really good and I expect some success from it.

Hit-Bound
~ Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame is on Hit-Bound!!! YES!!!!! Debut the countdown soon please.

~ Mary Lambert hosted Hit-Bound. She was fun to listen to.

~ Maroon 5 – Animals is on Hit-Bound.

~ Here's the Hit-Bound list:

  • Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame
  • Ella Henderson – Ghost
  • R5 – Heart Made Up On You
  • Jake Miller – First Flight Home
  • Sam Smith – I'm Not The Only One
  • Nick Jonas – Jealous
  • Mary Lambert – Secrets
  • Cobra Starship/Icona Pop – Never Been In Love
  • Maroon 5 – Animals
  • Bebe Rexha – I Can't Stop Drinking About You
  • Bastille – Flaws
  • The Vamps/Demi Lovato – Somebody To You
  • Childish Gambino – 3005
  • One Direction – Fireproof
  • Brantley Gilbert – Bottoms Up

Top 5 Hit-Bound
1. Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame
2. Nick Jonas – Jealous
3. Cobra Starship/Icona Pop – Never Been In Love
4. Sam Smith – I'm Not The Only One
5. Mary Lambert – Secrets

The American Blurb
~ Hits 1 must've realized Kiesza – Hideaway doesn't belong on their radio station or their countdown. 'Cause they kicked it out after lasting only two weeks.

~ F**K YOU MEGHAN TRAINOR!!! F**K YOU!!! (That's all I have to say.)

~ Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong left after being in the Top 10 two weeks ago. And Magic! – Rude is still here. Completely unacceptable.

~ Sia – Chandelier, a song that spent a lot of time in the bottom half of the countdown, is now #12. It's looking at an extended stay in the teens.

~ Having Bang Bang, Break Free, and Anaconda all on the countdown is gonna be a Problem*. All because of the countdown's silly rule of having songs by the same artist close to each other. You can see that happening with Ariana Grande and Charli XCX.

*See what I did there? :D

~ Sam Smith hosted the Weekend Countdown. Overall, he did a pretty good job. I love how generous he was and allowed his song to drop out of the Top 10.

~ Nothing changed between Rixton and #37.

~ Pitbull/John Ryan – Fireball is going the wrong way. Same with Bailando.

~ Taylor Swift – Shake It Off is getting closer to that #1 spot. Hopefully, we'll see it take over. Ummm......now please.

~ It's time to reveal the Top 3 for your 2014 Summer Voting Competition. Here are the two songs that (sadly) left.

  • Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong
  • OneRepublic – Love Runs Out

And now here are the Top 3 Contenders:

  • Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando
  • Florida Georgia Line/Jason Derulo/Luke Bryan – This Is How We Roll
  • Becky G – Shower

We're at the final voting week. The last and final poll is up. So get voting for your favorite song!

~ Two songs you guys should listen to are (because they are interesting): Brantley Gilbert/Justin Moore/Thomas Rhett – Small Town Throwdown and Lindsey Stirling/Lzzy Hale – Shatter Me

~ Best song on Jenna Marbles' #YouTube15: The Vamps/Shawn Mendes – Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)

My Top 5 Picks
1. Taylor Swift – Shake It Off
2. Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando
3. Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj – Bang Bang
4. Rixton – Wait On Me
5. MKTO – American Dream

Billboard Hot Blurbs
~ There are 35 horrifying songs on this countdown. But I'm gonna list the five worst songs (in no particular order):

  • Rae Sremmurd – No Flex Zone
  • Migos – First Night
  • Eric Church – Cold One
  • Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass
  • Tyga/Young Thug – Hookah

~ There's too much Iggy Azalea in this countdown.

~ Lil Wayne seriously needs to stop making music. His music SUCKS SO BAD!!!

My Top 5 Picks
1. Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame
2. Taylor Swift – Shake It Off
3. Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando
4. Train – Angel In Blue Jeans
5. Brantley Gilbert/Justin Moore/Thomas Rhett – Small Town Throwdown

~ So that's the Billboard Hot 100. Now onto America's Got Talent. SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! Do not read this if you do not want me to reveal the winner and Top 6 in order.

~ First of all, Ed Sheeran performed Don't and Pitbull performed Fireball with The Rockettes. But here are the Top 6 in the order they were ranked.

6. Miguel Dakota - He's a great singer who deserved to get far. I know he'll make it big. Great job on getting this far! His performance of The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army was his best. Click here for the YouTube video of his performance.

5. Quintavious Johnson - He's a good singer. But definitely not Top 6 material. Especially after his new performance from Tuesday. I could've literally fell asleep while watching that. I'm glad he's in fifth.

4. Sons Of Serendip - Their performance of Evanescence – Bring Me To Life gave me chills and goosebumps. This guy can sing! And I love how they take well-known songs and make it their own. And they sing with so much soul. I just love it. Bring Me To Life is hands down their best performance. Click here for the YouTube video of their performance.

3. AcroArmy - These guys (and girls) are phenomenal! They are throwing people around! I can't even imagine how long it took for these people to gain the trust that these people will catch them. And their performances are always perfection! I can't even pick my favorite because they're all so good! Those of you who really don't like them, I wanna see you do better (Mikey). They were my favorite act in the Top 6. And the guys are actually pretty hot... Too much? I thought so.

2. Emily West - She is a phenomenal singer! I never really cared about her until she performed Sia – Chandelier. Then she kept getting better and better. Click here for the YouTube video of my favorite performance from her.

1. Mat Franco - F**k you Mat Franco! F**k you! AcroArmy and Emily West deserved to win more than you. I don't think you're acts are bad. Sometimes they got me wondering how you did them. But you were definitely not #1 material. I never in a million years would've thought Mat Franco would win the entire show. I'm pissed that he took that spot away from an act that actually deserved to win. But whatever. So till next time on America's Got Talent, summer's #1 show!

~ Okay guys. That's it. Countdown post hopefully is coming out on Saturday. Rumors that Sam Smith is hosting the countdown and Mary Lambert is hosting Hit-Bound are spreading. We'll see.

~ I almost forgot. Click here for the link to my personal Top 45 Chart. Find out if Andy Grammer – Back Home will hold #1 for the second week in a row.

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong (–32)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy (+30)

New Entrants

~ Kickin' off the entrants with long-time Hit-Bound veteran Jesse McCartney – Superbad. I really didn't think this song would debut because of how long it was on Hit-Bound. But I'm glad it finally debuted. It's really catchy. It's not Jesse's best. But it's really good.

~ Another Hit-Bound veteran debuted in the form of 1975 – Girls. I have very little interest in this song. Chocolate was okay. But this song is just bad. Nothing else needs to be said.

~ My Anaconda don't! My Anconda don't! My Anconda don't want none unless you got buns hun! This song is really catchy even though it has inappropriate lyrics. But hey. It's Nicki Minaj!!! And Nicki Minaj is epic. And it's not like boring Pills N Potions, which got stranded on Hit-Bound. It's a fun song for people to jam out to. But from the reviews I've seen for it, I don't think very many people will be jamming out to it. But I'll be jamming out to it. And that's all that matters. And Nicki's inferior wannabe takes place at #24 and #6.

~ Save the best for last. Hits 1 has officially fallen in love with Fall Out Boy. Centuries is the song that should be spending quite some time at #1. It's definitely better than Young Volcanoes. And this whole time I thought Alone Together was their best. This song will be taking over the alternative charts for sure.

Let's Blurb Undressed
~ Look at this countdown. Anything missing? You sure? There's a certain artist who we haven't had a countdown without since February 16, 2013.

~ Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy needs to leave now!!! I'm not happy about this jump at all!!!!!!

~ Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass has rose to the dangerous #2. Almost as nervewrecking as when Magic! – Rude hit #2. I don't see what's so good about this song. This girl is talking for half the song. She's not even a good singer. I listened to her new EP, and I wasn't impressed. I personally don't like her singing. But there are clearly people who disagree.

~ Taylor Swift – Shake It Off is now in the Top 5. Could this be a potential #1 song that will keep All About That Bass away???

~ Enrique Iglesias/Sean Paul – Bailando is finally in the teens.

~ Ariana Grande/Zedd – Break Free got to the Top 5 a lot quicker than Problem.

~ Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj – Bang Bang is already ahead of all its debut buddies. And it was the second lowest debut.

~ I'm already over Heymous Molly – Life's A Beach.

~ T. Mills – All I Wanna Do will most likely be leaving next week. Looks like I was right about it not being that successful. But I'm sad about that!

~ So my high school is having a variety show (talent show) and I decided to sign up and audition. I'm auditioning on Monday. I'll be singing Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame. I don't know if I'll be good enough to make it through the audition. If I do, that's great! If I don't, that's okay too. All that matters is that I'm gonna try. I should see the results for who made it through on Thursday, so I'll say what happened in my next post. If I make it through, I'll keep you guys informed on what's going on. But yeah. I'm excited. So that's happening on Monday.

~ I almost forgot about the 2014 Summer Voting Poll. Here are the four songs leaving us.

  • Ariana Grande – Problem
  • Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy
  • Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend

Hey guys! My morning wasn't really that good. But that doesn't stop this guy from blogging the SiriusXM Hits 1 Weekend Countdown. This week was pretty boring and lame compared to last week. Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy (–21)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Tie Between Ariana Grande – Problem and Iggy Azalea/Rita Ora – Black Widow (+17)

New Entrant
~ Our lone new entrant this week is from Kiesza. Hideaway is catchy but weird at the same time. Especially since she sounds like a monkey in the chorus.

Hit-Bound
~ Cobra Starship is back with some new music on Hit-Bound.

~ Childish Gambino – 3005 is on Hit-Bound and I don't know what to think of it. It's definitely not good. It's either okay, or just plain out bad.

~ Betty Who – Somebody Loves You and Jesse McCartney – Superbad are still on Hit-Bound. I'm gonna get sick of them by the time they debut (if they debut).

~ Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, and Tujamo/Kid Ink – Delirious (Boneless) should debut on Hit-Bound. It's pretty good.

~ Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame needs to debut Hit-Bound and/or The Weekend Countdown! It's fantastic!

Top 5 Hit-Bound
1. Rixton – Wait On Me
2. Cobra Starship – Never Been In Love
3. Mary Lambert – Secrets
4. Ella Henderson – Ghost
5. Nicki Minaj – Anconda

Blurb-Away With Me Some More
~ Taylor Swift – Shake It Off is already in the Top 10. It has the chance to hit #1 on its fourth week taking the #39 –> #14 –> #7 path.

~ X Ambassadors/Jamie N Commons – Jungle jumped back to #21. That's good.

~ Sia – Chandelier is now in the Top 20.

~ Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend has been in the Bottom 5 for about two months.

~ Talk about a quick slip to the Bottom 5 for Becky G – Shower. Even I think that's kinda ridiculous.

~ T. Mills – All I Wanna Do is going in the wrong direction. Stop listening to the old/bad songs telling you to move down.

~ Fall Out Boy – Young Volcanoes really didn't have to hit #1. It made a wrong move there. It's not even popular anywhere else?!?!?! I can't be the only one who hasn't heard that song ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Not even on other SiriusXM stations.

~ Ingrid Michaelson – Girls Chase Boys and Magic! – Rude are the only songs to hold their spots from last week.

~ Time for 2014 Summer Voting Results. Songs being eliminated are:

  • Afrojack/Wrabel – Ten Feet Tall
  • Maroon 5 – Maps
  • Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass

Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong had the most votes. Get voting for the Top 5 peeps. We're eliminating 4 next week. Poll is up.

~ Armin van Buuren/Trevor Guthrie – This Is What It Feels Like wins the award for random enjoyable song of the week.
